The lecture focuses on the relation between the typicality and specificity of Slovene literature in the broader central Europe (especially in 19th and 20thcentury). The processes of modernisation, whose special mark was the emancipation of Slovenes as a so called unhistorical nation, have in the time of the bourgeoisie lead to the atypical links between the topical and formal ideas taken from other European literatures (“Napoleonic legend” and “Habsburg myth” are both parts of Slovenian literature; many literary school got their importance by intertwining forms).
