Comprising the entire collection of charters of both Auersperg family archives – the comital and the princely archives, as well as all extant transcripts of lost charters, the edition yields the reconstruction of the state of the Auersperg archives. Totalling 716 charters, the publication satisfies the standards of ecdotics.

The study focuses on a detailed analysis of Auersperg urbaria (of 1507, 1508, and 1511) in the keeping of the library of SAZU. Drawing on a context of the problem concerning the Auersperg archives, and especially the collection of urbaria, the analysis describes the development and dynamics of the Auersperg estates in the Middle Ages and their state at the end of that period.
