The results show that new method by confocal microscopy is rapid as flow cytometry but more sensitive then flow cytometry, since flow cytometry detects aggregates of red and green cells as hybridomas, which are easily distinguished from hybridomas by confocal microscopy.

The present invention belongs to the field of cell biology and immunology and it consists of a method for labelling and quantification of hybridoma cells produced by the fusion of dendritic and tumour cells. The present invention relates to a method for the assessment of the yield of hybridoma cells by means of the number of differently labelled subcellular organelles, for example lysosomes that originate from different parental cell types. This method is applicable also for labelling and determination of the quantity of hybridomas which produce antibodies.
