From the Permian-Triassic section of the Ineer Dinarides (Jadar Block, Vardar Zone) a conodont fauna of the Praeparvus Zone (uppermost Permian) has been described. This is the first report of the Permian conodonts in Serbia that enables important data for biostratigraphical comparison of the Dinarides and the Tethys.

Conodont population of the Hindeodus-Isarcicella group has been collected in the Bellerophon and Werfen Formations in the Žiri area, western Slovenia. First occurance datum of Hindeodus parvus enables definition of the Permian-Triassic boundary. This is the first paleontologic definition of the sistemic boundary in the entire Dinarides based on internationally accepted criteria.

A rare find of vertebrate from the Werfen Formation was studied in detail. The preserved fossil bone is part of an amphibian skeleton and it belongs to the Capitosauridae, order Temnospondyli. The fossil amphibian from Slovenia is the fifth occurrence of temnospodyl amphibian in marine Lower Triassic strata on the world map.

Foraminifer fauna is documented from the uppermost Permian (conodont Praeparvus Zone - lower part) from the Permian-Triassic section in the Internal Dinarides of Serbia. A revision of the foraminifer genus Eomarginulinella was done, and four new species were introduced (Hemigordius komiricensis n. sp., H. smiljkae n. sp., Multidiscus vlasicensis n. sp., Eomarginulinella serbica n. sp.). This work presents new significant data important for comparative study of the Dinarides and the Tethys realm.
