Members of the programme team have been active in the area of project organisation, including international and national scientific symposia, exhibitions, editing of related publications etc. Particularly important is the project Almanach and Painting of the Second Half of the 17th C. in Carniola: M. Klemenčič conceived and co-organised an important international scientific conference and exhibition, co-edited two accompanying monographs (a Slovene and international), as well as a volume of papers presented at the event (as a special issue of Acta historiae artis Slovenica magazine).

COBISS.SI-ID: 222479616Members of the research team have successfully combined research and pedagogical activities and provided a direct and quick access to new findings to undergraduate and postgraduate students (ca 50 final theses, with 3 important university awards), 2 master’s theses and 6 doctoral dissertations. They often gave lectures to undergraduate and postgraduate students at universities in Austria, Italy and Croatia. M. Klemenčič spent 3 months, from January to March 2007, as a guest lecturer on Venetian Baroque sculpture at the University of Florence.

Particularly important were the papers presented by J. Höfler, related mostly with the Italian Renaissance art and medieval Central European art at symposia in Italy, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg and the Czech Republic (e.g. his paper on the counts of Celje, presented at the international scientific conference "Sigismundus Rex et Imperator", Luxemburg 8–10 June 2005).

Klemenčič is member of the editorial board of the same journal, and was a guest co-editor of another scientific journal Acta historiae artis Slovenica in 2006, as well as a co-editor of the scientific monograph on Almanach. A special achievement in this area is the international volume of collected papers Bayern und Slowenien im Zeitalter des Barock , edited by J. Höfler and F. Büttner (Munich) and which included articles by M. Kemperl and M. Klemenčič.

Höfler was honoured with the title Professor Emeritus of the Ljubljana University on his retirement in autumn 2006, received the Izidor Cankar Award for Life’s Work in the spring 2005; this award is the highest recognition in the profession and is bestowed by the Slovene Art History Society. In 2007 M. Klemenčič and his associates received the Izidor Cankar Award for the project Almanach ... In 2007 J. Höfler received Premio letterario nazionale Frontino Montefeltro for his book on Palazzo Ducale in Urbino and became the honorary member of Accademia Raffaello of Urbino.
