The tenth bienneal conference of the European Association of Social Anthropologists (Easa) was the most important and the largest conference of this kind ever organised in Slovenia with more than 1100 participants. Between 26 and 30 August, 2008, Ljubljana was the centre of the European social anthropology.

COBISS.SI-ID: 00000000The project Slovenian bourgeoise from the awakening of the nation to nationalisation (1848-1948) consists of an exhibition, on display in the Museum of contemporary history in Ljubljana, and an extensive catalogue. The project was initiated by Božidar Jezernik and carried out under supervision of the museologist Jože Hudales and represents a collective work of the members of ther Department of ethnology and cultural anthropology at the Faculty of Arts and Slovenian museums.
