Researching models and efficacy of undergraduate teacher programs, we started investigating, in cooperation with postgraduate students in chemistry (at, University of Ljubljana, NTF faculty), motivation of students enrolled in chemistry and science teacher education. Research findings are important for better understanding of the motivational processes of teachers and indirectly also for the understanding of how to encourage their pupils in chemistry and science classes.

Interdisciplinary based, using qualitative and quantitative methods, studying the inclusion of marginalised pupils in primary school. An analysis of mechanisms that generate injustice, social inequality and discrimination in school, as well as an analysis of the question how school system could diminish its role in the generation of social inequality, thus becoming less exclusive. This is a contribution to the development of a holistic concept of inclusion and to an analysis of the contributing and restricting factors to develop inclusive school.
