F.30 Professional assessment of the situation
COBISS.SI-ID: 228555520A developed conceptual model of absorptive capacity of firms and of its effect on innovation has been with the help of modeling of structural equations tested on the sample of 1878 firms from three countries. Inclusion of a wide selection of determinants in the model enables a much more realistic insight on the impact of individual influences on the absorption capacity of firms. A considerably improved measure of absorptive capacity was applied here and based upon it the hypothesis of the existence of two kinds of absorptive capacities - a scientific and market one – was confirmed.
F.02 Acquisition of new scientific knowledge
COBISS.SI-ID: 17586406The conference represents a contribution to the study of the system of financing of higher education, its internal and external economic efficiency, fairness and links among all these economic aspects of higher education at a global level. 26 papers from more than 20 countries from Europe, Asia and Africa (among them 4 by internationally highly recognised experts in the area of economics of education) were presented.
