It focuses on the dissolution of the SFRY. Published by the respected foreign publisher and reviewed in scholarly literature it presents also Slovene views of these developments. Building on the principle that minorities alone should determine their political organization and participation considering internal plurality of minorities it concludes that any ‘enforcement from the outside’ might prove to be counterproductive. It analyses Austrian minority and political reality and organization – focusing on party organization and electoral legislation that forces Slovene minority into a kind of ‘artificial dialogue’. The book presents the presence of Slovenehood in Bosnia and Herzegovina throughout history from the Ottoman rule through Austro-Hungarian occupation and annexation, the two Yugoslav states to the independence of the Bosnia-Herzegovina. Identified are several hundreds of people, who felt and declared themselves as Slovenes, or were regarded as such in B-H.
