Members of the research group participated at the research project entitled: “Modelling of the defence segments with Markov chains”, code: M5-0175, where three universities have participated: University of Ljubljana, University of Maribor and University of Primorska. In the part of the project entitled “Development of the dynamical model of human resources transitions between commanding ranks”, addressed by the University of the Maribor, the dynamical model was developed that enables monitoring and anticipation of the transitions between ranks in Slovenian army.
F.25 Development of new organisational structures and managerial solutions
COBISS.SI-ID: 5937683One of the major achievements of the research group is participation at the research project with the title “Development of warranty claims prediction system in Gorenje d.d.”, code: MK-2306-03, financier: Gorenje, Home Appliances d.d. The methods for prediction of the "terminal call rate" - TCR were developed and applied in the frame of the project. Research group has developed system and software tool for warranty claim prediction at the expiry of warranty period in corporation Gorenje, Home Appliances d.d.
F.15 Development of a new information system/databases
COBISS.SI-ID: 5481235Research project, code: L5-5197 entitled: “Algorithms of hybrid selection for scheduling with evolutive computing”, was conducted for the Ministry of Science and Technology and one of the leading Slovenian industrial partner Iskra Avoelektrika d.d. (co-financier). Project addresses application of hybrid selection in evolutive computing for multicriteria scheduling optimization. Results of the project supplement theoretical formulation of influences of hybrid selection on the multicriteria scheduling from the viewpoint of convergence towards optimal solution for the decision-process purposes.
F.14 Improvements to existing production methods and tools or processes
COBISS.SI-ID: 4540435Members of the research group, Miroljub Kljajić and Davorin Kofjač have received an award in year 2005 in Liege, Belgium, in the frame of seventh international conference CASYS 2005, topic of mathematical modeling, chaos theory, dynamical, logical and control systems. Their contributed paper was entitled: “The Virtual Reality as an Anticipative Concept in Warehouse Optimization in Uncertain Environment”.
