Members of this program group demonstrated a huge pedagogical burden, as they supervised 119 graduated thesis, 10 master thesis and 8 doctoral dissertations. Doctoral dissertations were made in the frame of the programme group; some of them were a part of basic projects (J4-6475-0481 Project). Each dissertation was advocated after the publication of articles in high-valued journals (COBISS.SI-ID [2991736] [3051896] [2791800] [3401336] [1411027] [3167864] [2214024] [3561336]).
D.09 Tutoring for postgraduate students
COBISS.SI-ID: 3561336The textbook is an important study material for students of the Food science university study program. The book is at the moment the first and the only technical manual on sensory analysis in Slovenian language. The book is helpful to trained sensory assessors at designing the sensory analysis of the product, at the selection of the proper sensory test, and at treatment and interpretation of the results of sensory analysis. The book is a valuable literature for the students of Food science and technology and professional public interested in training on this field.
C.02 Editorial board of a national monograph
COBISS.SI-ID: 223939072Slovenian food composition tables are a reference book and a compilation of data on composition of meat and meat products, produced in Slovenia and frequently on the tables of Slovenian consumers. Most of the data is a result of own research work and analyses. The results were obtained in the frames of the project Slovenian food composition tables – meat and meat products (V4-0116). Food composition tables are an indispensable instrument in planning of meals and in everyday professional, developmental or research work of food engineer or nutritionist.
C.02 Editorial board of a national monograph
COBISS.SI-ID: 229433856Food Technology Days 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008 dedicated to prof. F. Bitenc (thematic survey on the topic: food science and technology and nutrition for postgraduate studies) were organised by our programme group for four times. The themes were Food safety, Food traceability, Carcinogenic and anticarcinogenic food components and By-products and wastes in food processing - utilization and ecology. Ten researchers from our programme group had attended this event as invited lecturers, two of them were editors.
B.04 Guest lecture
COBISS.SI-ID: 2894200The basic project entitled Occurrence and analysis of heterocyclic amines in thermally treated meat from 1.7.2004 to 30.6.2007 (J4-6475-0481-06/4.02). Six members and one young researcher had participated in this project; Došler D. wrote a dissertation on this theme. Project contributes to enriching knowledge on heterocyclic amines and to the development of expert education (inclusion of postgraduate students). Findings will assure the decrease of environment burdening.
