Professor Janez Trontelj is a TPC (Technical Program Committee) member of the largest and most prestigious professional conference in the world, European Solid-State Circuits Conference (ESSCIRC). The TPC members are the worlds most renowned scientists in this field. Prof. Trontelj is the only one from the new EU members. Each paper is verified by eight experts and after the consultation they choos 20% of all papers. Prof. Trontelj covers the field of sensor systems, which are related to this project.
D.03 Membership in foreign/international boards/committees
COBISS.SI-ID: 5525588It is an innovative achievement that represents basis for a new generation of fast and accurate current measuring devices that are mostly used with electric drive controllers. We will use this concept for the development of intelligent electric drive controllers.
B.03 Paper at an international scientific conference
COBISS.SI-ID: 5443668Reference voltage source is implemented in integrated systems that use battery as a supply voltage. It is based upon the extraction of the band gap potential of energy gap of silicon, but it uses only one half of it since 1.205V is too high. The reference voltage source operates down to 0.8V of supply and the output voltage can be adjusted from 0.3V to 0.5V with an accuracy of 20ppm/ degreeC. In microsystems such stable reference is very often needed.
F.32 International patent
COBISS.SI-ID: 5429844An important role of LMFE on the gyroscope project is certainly worth mentioning due to its worldwide reputation. It surpasses the product of the multinational corporation Analog Devices. On this project the company SensorDynamics received the most prestigious award in the field of technology in Austria. The patent has been filled but due to industrial IP protection we are delaying the PCT publication.
F.07 Improvements to an existing product
COBISS.SI-ID: 6137940LMFE and Iskra Avtoelektroka are co-founders of a spin-off company IskraLAB that introduces the basis of high-tech technology for Iskra Avtoelektrika that is anticipating to provide around one hundred jobs and many new technologies and programmes related to microelectronic technologies and microsystems.
