A new scientific method has been developed enabling much better accuracy of the contact temperature measurements and a qualitative jump in the Republic of Slovenia on the whole range from triple point of argon (-190 °C) up to the melting point of palladium (1550 °C), novel methods for design and production of the fixed point cells, highly stabile and homogenous high temperatures furnaces, novel positioning system for SPRT and new automatic method for the calibration of the resistance bridges.

New methodology for better humidity measurement has been developed and scientifically confirmed. Primary humidity generator from -50 °C up to 20 °C dew-point temperature has been developed.
