In thic article the synthesiis of the Ba-hexaferrite crystals is showen and the study of the synthesis of nanocomposites with a controled crystal structure is showen.

We prepared among the first the lanthanum manganates nanoparticles protected with a thin biocompatible layer of silica with a Curie temperature at 43 oC, with auto regulation of the heating temperature during treating in an alternating high frequency magnetic field, for the application in the hyperthermia.

In the article we explained the mechanisms leading to the formation of highly-anisotropic nanocrystallites (nanoneedles and nanoplatelets) of ferroelectric KNbO3 during the calcination of the metal-organic precursor synthesized by sol-gel method. KNbO3 displays cubic structure at the temperature of its formation.
