One of the difficulties in measuring the company's level of sustainability is to determine which directions of change are leading towards sustainability. Hence, appropriate metrics that will enable these assessments have been proposed. Indicators of sustainable production for assessing and promoting business sustainability have been developed. The main concepts of such production and a set of necessary conditions that firms must fulfill, in order to be sustainable have been introduced. It identified major functions of indicators and it proceeded to present the role of indicators.

COBISS.SI-ID: 10622742Based on the order of the Consortium CERO, Radovljica, Slovenia, a computer model was developed, by which the allocation of centres for wastes treatment in Gorenjska region was analysed. The model was formulated as a mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) problem and enables the selection of optimal network of centres for the collection, recycling, treatment and disposal of municipal solid wastes for interregional or even cross-border regions.
