As part of the URAVIVO project, in which the project leader also participated, the occurrence of emerging contaminants was also monitored in the groundwater of the Krško polje aquifer. Emerging contaminants in groundwater were monitored both by direct chemical measurements and by passive samplers, which monitor pollutants over a longer period of time and thus enable the detection of significantly lower concentrations of pollutants in groundwater. As part of the project, the first review of occurrence of emerging pollutants in the Krško polje aquifer was carried out.
