On July 5th 2019, in the radio broadcast Kulturni fokus (Cultural Focus) of the Radio-Television of Slovenia, the first Slovene translation with commentary of the East Slavic literary texts from the 11th and 12th centuries titled Pismenost in kultura Kijevske Rusije: prevod in komentar izbranih tekstov [Literacy and Culture of Kievan Rus': Translation and Commentary of Selected Texts] was presented. This edition was published by the Scientific Publishing of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. As a co-author of the book, one of the participants in the mentioned broadcast was also the leader of the project. He particularly shed light on the meaning of the martyrdom of the Princes Boris and Gleb in a broader (literary-)historical and theological perspective.

COBISS.SI-ID: 514293356On December 17th 2019 the leader of the project held a lecture at the prestigious Historical Seminar of the Research Center of the Slovene Academy of Science and Arts titled “Ruler Martyrs on the Periphery of Medieval Europe: Kievan Rus', Norway, and Dioclea.” This lecture brought an overview and accentuated the main initial results of the project.

COBISS.SI-ID: 1024485856Between January 30th and February 1st 2020 the leader of the project took active participation at the international scientific conference in Warsaw organized by the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Centre of Byzantine Research of the Oxford University. The title of the conference was: “The World of the Slavs: Forgotten Meeting Place of Different Cultures; Christian Russia in the Making.” The leader of the project presented his paper: “Ruler Martyrs on the Periphery of Medieval Europe (Kievan Rus', Dioclea, Norway): A Comparative Overview.”
