Adult education has an important development role in Slovenia and in other European countries. This chapter focuses on intergenerational cooperation, which contributes to the lifelong learning of employees in organizations and the preservation of the tacit knowledge of generational different workforce. With intergenerational cooperation and learning, the knowledge that employees already have in the past is designed, new skills are added, which means that they are inclueded in lifelong learning process, which is the key importance for the labor market today. The purpose of this chapter is to present the use of intergenerational cooperation in the companies of the service sector in Slovenia. Authors analyzed whether there are statistically significant differences in the use of intergenerational cooperation with respect to the age group of employees. Based on the results of the study, we can conclude that there are statistically significant differences between the different age groups of employees in the companies of the service sector in the four out of six examined statements of intergenerational cooperation.
