In the reported period, the members of the project group made several presentations of the project at international scientific meetings, including several invited lectures. We highlight a lecture at the University of Bristol entitled Jammed quantum matter and other exotic states created out of equilibrium.

COBISS.SI-ID: 32462887The world-renowned manufacturer of electron microscopes, Scienta Omicron, publishes on its website every month the most top results achieved on their microscopes. In August 2019, the result of the project team was recognized as the best, presented in detail in npj quantum materials.

COBISS.SI-ID: 32598567Members of the Project group co-organize international scientific meeting. The scope of the meeting is to focus on nonequilibrium quantum dynamics which plays a major role in Quantum technology. Understanding of such dynamics in real world systems presents a challenge to experimentalists and theory alike. The time-evolution of many-body quantum systems can be viewed as the time-evolution of quantum information, opening the way to new experimental ideas. At the same time, new and sometimes unexpected experimental discoveries provide stimulus for theory.
