The study describes the development of efficient methods for compact representation of lexical resources for languages with a rich inflectional paradigm, such as Slovenian. We have focussed on the development of new methods, combining incremental methods for weighted finite state transducers with methods that include the optimization thereof and their transformation into finite super transducers, capable of accepting both vocabulary words as well as out-of-vocabulary words (OOVs).

COBISS.SI-ID: 15857667In December 2018, there were 532 dictionary compositions published in the new Dictionary of Standard Slovene (eSSKJ), including 188 set phrases and 95 phrasemes. In December of 2019, 500 more dictionary compositions, including 94 set phrases and 25 phrasemes, were added. For all units, wherever possible, information was provided in scope of OptiLEX on pronunciation and accent (dynamic as well as pitch). All inflectional word classes also provide dynamic and pitch accentuation of inflexion-accentual paradigms.
