The study gives an overview of the situation in the field of GHG emissions in the Slovenian industry. It outlines the goals of climate policy, presents the state of energy in the Slovenian industry by industry, and provides a sectoral analysis based on the use of relevant available data in the field of energy use, economic activities, the use of material resources and releases of GHGs in the Slovenian industry. Energy-intensive industries have been highlighted (metal production, other non-ferrous metals production, chemicals production, paper production, food and beverage production, non-metallic mineral products) and other industries were. We are presenting good practices for lowering GHG emissions in energy-intensive industries and providing a spatial presentation of the intensity levels of energy and emission flows. In the form of statistical sheets, key trends in CO2, CH4 and N2O emissions from combustion of fuels and processes are presented separately for energy-intensive and other industries.
