In the public lecture the architecture of national halls and German houses , which were built on the territory of the present-day Slovenia from 1870's until the First World War, was presented. The buildings can be described as a succesful example of use of architecture as a means of political propraganda.

In the lecture, the characteristics of Protestant graphic sources, their propagandist function and the characteristics of portraits from the 2nd half of 16th and early 17th century were presented.
