Online exhibition, prepared with the use of digital humanities, is the first presentation of the censorship and propaganda in the visual arts in Slovenia during the First World War. In that way the results of the research, conducted in the frames of the project, were disseminated to the broader public.

B.04 Guest lecture
COBISS.SI-ID: 60332803The contribution at the international conference Visual Arts between Censorship and Propaganda in the Habsburg Lands focused on the largest surviving ensemble of portraits of lay dignitaries from Slovenian monasteries, i.e., depictions of the benefactors from Stična abbey. It draws particular attention to their typology, comparisons with similar surviving works from (Inner) Austrian monasteries as well as their models and written sources.
