COBISS.SI-ID: 33826397The report on phase 1 of the UEL (Urban Education LIVE) project financed by the Slovenian Research Agency and by the EU (ERA-NET, H2020) covers the key preparation activities done in the first year of the project. The project focuses on establishing a larger role or on activating the collaboration potential between universities, local communities, city authorities, and other important involved parties in spatial development. The project is distinctly socially (culturally) and economically action-oriented, which is reflected in the implementation of practical events and collaborations among the involved parties on a chosen location in Ljubljana (e.g. the Tobačna complex). In this aspect, it contributes to better agency and quality of networking between economic (SMEs) and socio-cultural entities in the researched field.
