In the frame of invited lecture at the GLOBAQUA Training Course "The use of stable isotopes in investigations of hydrological processes and climate change, 10-13 Oktober, 2016, Ljubljana, Slovenia" we presented an overview of isotopes in precipitation research activities preformed by Slovenian and Hungarian project teams.

COBISS.SI-ID: 29888551In November 2018 was Slovene project leader invited to participate at the annual Swiss National Isotope Observation (ISOT) Expert meeting “Isotope und Umwelt” organised by Bundesamt für Umwelt (BAFU) in Bern,Switzerland. Meeting was attended by 14 participants, mainly from Switzerland and Austria. Participants presented results of their activities in the field of ISOT and National Groundwater Monitoring programme (NAQUA) during the last year and discussed the planes for next year. In the frame of ISOT water isotope observations are performed systematically for a long time in the frame of national monitoring programme and represent an important basis for further water resource investigations. It is a tradition that BAFU invites to ISOT meeting each year one guest to present the results of research in the field of water isotope investigations. The past, present and planned activities performed in Slovenia in the frame of isotope investigations of precipitation were presented as invited lecture "SLONIP-Slovenian Network of Isotopes in Precipitation".

COBISS.SI-ID: 32047655The Website Slovenian Network of Isotopes in Precipitation - SLONIP SLONIP, available at https://slonip.ijs.si/. This page is intended for the presentation of data on the isotope composition of precipitation in Slovenia and links to references with data and other information relevant to end users. The application, which supports data management and visualization, is created by a physics student, Aljaž Pavšek. The program code was prepared, which enables graphical display of results, calculations of additional parameters and addition of new data.

Both project leaders were invited to participate as guest editors [COBISS.SI-ID 36731653] in the Special Issue of Water MDPI (A"). A special issue entitled "Use of Water Stable Isotopes in Hydrological Process" (ISSN 2073-4441) is dedicated to the use of stable isotopes of the water molecule in hydrological processes. In a special issue, 12 scientific and one review article were published by February 2020. More details can be found at: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/water/special_issues/Isotopes_Hydrological_Process
