COBISS.SI-ID: 34690909This contribution presents the plan of a comprehensive survey study on post-mortem organ donation in Slovenia. In the first part it provides an overview of existing survey studies on this topic in Slovenia. It analyses key indicators of organ donation willingness that were included in surveys based on probability samples of the general population (Eurobarometer and Slovenian Public Opinion). By evaluating the existing data and past research methodologies it established the most important methodological principles for a new survey study. These include probability sampling, approaches for improvement of measurement accuracy, focus on measuring the gap between willingness to donate and actual registration, and inclusion of theoretical models and a broader range of indicators of organ donation (un)willingness.

COBISS.SI-ID: 34691421This study presents the results of a systematic review of interventions designed to promote post-mortem organ donation. It seeks to examine the evidence base surrounding interventions to address post-mortem organ donation; to determine the extent to which the interventions included social marketing benchmark criteria, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention type.
