Abstract
The final goal of the research project is development and use of methods based on the accelearated ions with energies of a few MeV available at the low-energy accelerator. The developed spectroscopic methods with ions can be used for measurements of the sample elemental composition as well as for the elemental concentration profile determination on the sample surface. Due to limited range of MeV ions in matter not exceeding a few mg/cm2 the methods mentioned are especially useful for the studies of thin layers and surfaces.
