Significance for science
Development of tree prototypes is considered as scientific achievement. Innovative ideas for »sight analysis«, »sensibility / attractiveness map of cultural heritage« ans »simulation model of urban development« were materialized in developed prototypes and tested for Ljubljana urbanism.
Significance for the country
The research has is applicable in nature and developed prototypes are usable in the present time when preparing spatial plans on especially local level. The process of spatial plan preparation is an opportunity to include movable, immovable and tangible heritage into planning categories and guidelines. The spatial nature of heritage calls for the integration of heritage among elements of generators of development in development programms of settlements, cities and regions. According to European legal framework in investments pressures on cultural landscape, building heritage the results are usable as tools for qualitative and quantitative evaluation of different urban scenarios. Computer modelling is especially applicable in spatial plans preparation as well as for urban city centres renowal, where classical methods can not be used. Developed 3 prototypes are directly applicable in the practices of the slovenian spatial planning.
