Abstract
The objective of the research proposal is to develop new refined numerical procedures for the determination of deformations, the bearing capacity, the stability, and the dynamical response of structures. Plane and space frames will be considered. The account will be taken of exact kinematics, arbitrary initial curvature and cross-section of beams, static, dynamic, conservative or nonconservative loads, and elastic-plastic as well as elastic-visco-plastic material.
