Abstract
Proposed research goal is a development of methodology for studying accessibility of different groups of habitants to public services in slovenian urban environment. Research bases on presumpossition, that accessibility to public services differs among different groups of people, which proves their segregation. Methodology for measuring accessibility to public services will be developed in the project. An analysis of specific groups travelling to public services with geoinformation methods will be conducted on the basis of specific groups and public services identification. Geographic information system (GIS) will be established from measurings results and accessibility analysis results for defined urban area. Developed GIS is going to a core for developing a computer supported model for simulation and visualisation the actual and potential accessibility situation for spatial analysis and to overcome urban segregation.
