Abstract
Actual researches show conflicts of interests in use of groundwater as a natural resource. Interweaves of different activities and pollution from point and diffuse sources have impacts on quantity and quality of groundwater, this use is not well managed in some cases The conflict is present. Natural vulnerability of aquifers is high and inside diverse, pollution is big, mainly as a cause of population and urban density and concentration of different activities. The key conflict in the gravel plains is use as a drinking water and other agro urban activities. This conflict can be reduced by awareness of all spatial and nature resource users. Actual legislation is a good base for handling in the aquifer areas, but in praxis are still not in use. When quality drinking water will be the priority for all stakeholders the economic activities in this areas will be planned in proper way. Experiences show that socio-economic structure is important for awareness and it is also a result of informing and educating of all involved groups.
