Abstract
Project deals with research on heat and mass transfer at solar energy conversion with goal to develop energy and economic optimal technology for solar energy use in practice. The whole project consists of many parts which are coupled in between and include:
research on heat and mass transfer between parallel semi-opened air gap as function of absorbed solar radiation and different boundary conditions. The goals are new building envelope elements with advance thermal insulation and shading characteristics.
optimisation of tubular vacuum solar collector with highly selective surface, which would be the basic element of solar system for heat production in the temperature range from 120 oC to 140 oC.
· system research on using tubular vacuum solar collectors for process heat and/or electricity production, which is going to include the mathematical model with thermodynamic, hydrodynamic and economic components.
research on heat accumulation in passive and active solar systems with TIM and PCM, which are important for low energy buildings. Accumulated heat is primarily used for building ventilation.
research on heat and mass transfer in large sensible and latent heat storage for covering heat demand in living environment and industry. Research is going to take place on already made soil heat storage and on liquid type heat storage models.
