Abstract
The physiological status of different stoolbed plants (greater physiological age, in-vitro plants) which were chosen as a cutting source will be defined via different biochemical markers (phenol substances, auxin metabolism). Analyses of the biochemical markers will be used also in the determination of stress by cuttings at the time of being put in the substrate. Our experience done with investigations of the discordance and stress coupled with it at the grafting of fruit plants will help us especially by the analyses of the phenol substances (Usenik&Štampar, 2000a, Usenik&Štampar, 2000b). Physiological aging of stoolbed plants is the complex phenomenon therefore the searching of the biochemical markers will combine different disciplines.
