Abstract
The main goal of the proposed project is the optimization of decarburisation and recrystallization processes of non alloyed and alloyed electrical steel sheets in different controlled gas mixtures (H2+H2Op+N2 and EXO). The jkinetics of decarburisation and recrystallization processes will also be measured. AES method will be used for in situ investigations of surface carbon segregation as well as of surface segregation of tramp elements. Basis of the surface segregation mechanism will be determined and the formation of thin oxide film and its effect on decarburisation and recrystallization of electrical steel sheets will investigated also.
