Abstract
The ATLAS experiment, which will be working on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), will record several100 MBytes of data per second. In order to be able to properly analyse such quantities of data, fast and precise methods of Monte-Carlo simulation of physics processes have to be developed and/or the existing ones modified and implemented. In addition, new methods of data storage and computer processing have to be researched. We will collaborate in the development of the appropriate tools for simulation of physiscs processes and take part in the research of globally distributed storage and computer processing of data (GRID).
