Abstract
Harmonisation of thermal (heating and cooling) and lighting (daylight) flows between the outer and inner environment. The interface, the object of research is represented by constructional complexes (transparent and opaque) and controls mechanisms with control systems. Clear basic problems which we can find during the design of buildings: position in the space, geometry of the volume and openings and the structure of transparent and opaque parts of the envelope, first of all from the point of view of the energy use and quality living and working conditions create basic knowledge about the dynamic performance and response of the building. Basic knowledge is necessary both on the level of responses of individual parts and on the level of the building on the whole. Harmonised thermal (heating and cooling) and lighting response of the building, where new and advanced materials and systems appear and where is the performance of the building connected to the use of automation and information technologies is not clarified neither in the world not in our house. The reason is that they are always treated separately. Research programme: - Development of advanced computer software on the basis of new models for the analysis of integral energy response of the building: interactive treatment of thermal and light flows, as an upgrading of original and basic computer software developed in the framework of previous research projects of research group KSKE FGG and testing of characteristics in situ on experimental cells. - Research of applicability of appointed conventional methods (such as PID regulation,...) and some contemporary methods, originating for artificial intelligence (fuzzy regulators, neurone regulators) - This knowledge, modelling modes, comparative and absolute values of simulations and measurements, are the basis for the development of new dynamic systems (constructional complexes, elements and complete building) which represent the theoretical background for design and evaluation of advanced building technologies. Treated factors are changeable temperature of surfaces, as a function of dynamic structure of constructional complexes, air temperature and quantity and distribution of daylight on the basis of requirements in the living environment under the influence of external dynamics of thermal and light flows.
