Abstract
In the ensuing years cadmium-based brazing filler materials will have to be discarded from use because they are toxic and ecollogically controversial. The aim of the project is to introduce application of cadmium-free brazing filler materials into production of fuse elements in ETI, d.d., Izlake, which is one of major world manufacturers. New materials require studies in terms of dynamic electric strength, weldability, and application of the new brazing filler materials. For deposition of the brazing filler material a device permitting simultaneous resistance and plasma heating controlled by laser-sensor adaptive control is to be constructed.
