Abstract
The project includes research on modelling and simulation of biological wastewater treatment processes. Emphasis is given to the usage of dynamical mathematical models for the optimisation of plant operation as well as for the design and upgrading of wastewater treatment plants. In the frame of this approach the problems of estimation of model parameters and the specification of plant measurements will be specially considered. The proposed approach will be tested by pilot plant experiments performed on the real wastewater treatment plant.
