Abstract
The opinions on the mechanism of functional electrical stimulation (FES) in the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) are still divided. To confirm the importance of electrical stimulation, and to evaluate the efficiency of the method, the patients with SUI will be treated with short-term FES or with Kegel exercises. After the treatment, the impact of FES on the treatment of SUI will be evaluated by comparison of the results of clinical tests and urodynamic investigations.
