Abstract
The aim of our proposal is to develop a device for on-line analysis of amplitude and frequency of ventricular fibrillation in the setting of human cardiac arrest. Such apparatus, which is as yet not available, would enable non invasive monitoring of the effectiveness of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and optimize the timing of electrical defibrillation.
