Abstract
In circumstances of the economic transition, the formation and the movement of prices have some characteristics which are different from those in countries with developed market economies. Differences are basicaly the consequence of different institutional circumstances, differences in factor price formation, fight price distortions and instability of prices in transitional economies. The economic policy of countries in transition must also battle in the field of prices with tasks and limitations which, in developed market economies, do not exist. Because of this the analyses of partial markets from the neoclassical point of view as well as the analyses of aggregate levels from the macroeconomic point of view give certain modifications regarding the valid theory and regarding empirical findings in developed market economies. The purpose of this research project is to percieve these economic characteristics and to include them into the concept of operations in transitional economies.
