Description
Trimo d.d. is a company, engaged in metal processing activity. Its programme includes engineering, and designing of assembly halls, production and assembly of steel constructions, production and assembly of fire proof, thermaly insulated facade and roof panels, production and assembly of container dweling units and pre-fabricated houses, as well as production and assembly of sound reduction panels for industry, traffic and constructing.
The beginnings of the company date back to the year 1961. In the first years of its operating, Trimo was selling its products and service mostly on a domestic market. As the years went by, the radius of working has spred and today it comprizes a bigger part of Europe, states of the former Soviet Union and Near East. The spreading of the sales network has influenced also the foundation of the selling companies and network of the agents abroad.
From its beginning the company has laid a great stress on its own developement. Thus by the end of the eighties it has developed a light constructing panel with the core of incombustible material. This gave Trimo the opportunity to break through to the field of fire proof construction, which is today one of the main characteristics of TRIMO activities. One of important milestones in Trimo"s history was, undoubtedly, acquiring the licence to use, issued by the German Institut für Bautechnik, and as such it was the first licence for this kind of roof and facade panels in general. Among other successful developing projects we can place roofs for individual buyers, sound reduction panels and pre-fabricated houses.
The company walks with great steps on the way to reach the business superiority. Today it is one of a leading companies in the field of engineering, production and assembly of pre-fabricated buildings in Slovenia. In the field of light building panels with core of mineral wool it is a leading company in Europe (patents, technologies, market share). In the year 1993 Trimo acquired the ISO 9001 certificate. One of the last steps on the way to excellence was the successful prejudgement for acquiring the ISO 14001 certificate in the beginning of the year 2000.
